RKD was responsible for the high-end fit-out of this private hair transplant clinic, continuing a successful relationship with the client that ensured thorough understanding of requirements and the ability to capitalise on previous experience. The brief demanded a world-class healthcare facility capable of generating the feeling of a spa environment. In achieving this brief RKD deliberately selected luxury finishes as well as classic and bespoke furniture of the highest quality while taking careful steps to guarantee the privacy of spaces.

Given the sophisticated nature of the technical devices contained within, all aspects of the design scheme were chosen to not only reflect but also celebrate cutting-edge technology, simultaneously reassuring and communicating the image of quality medical service. Extensive use of glazed partitioning is made throughout the building to enhance and symbolise a hygienic, patient-centred surgical environment. Decor featuring soft bright colours was purposely chosen according to psychological research to generate calm and reduce stress.

Samson House itself comprises operating theatres, a recovery room, staff changing area, reception, catering and sanitary facilities, high-end patient rooms, waiting rooms, conference facilities, and superior staff facilities including a gym and terrace area.
