Refurbishment of this hospital which was constructed between 1983 & 1987. The main hospital is a two storey over basement building. There are 200 beds in the main hospital. There are 4 No. operating theatres and 27 diagnostic suites. The hospital has 7 specialist labs. The construction is a reinforced concrete frame structure with block masonry and marble tile cladding on external walls. There are approximately 200 parking spaces on site.

Al Midhnab Hospital — 150 beds

Refurbishment of this hospital which was constructed between 1982 & 1983. The main hospital is a two storey over basement building. The hospital has 150 beds. It has 2 No. operating theatres. The construction consists primarily of column beam structure with block walls and concrete roof. The internal walls and partitions consist of a mixture of dry wall partitioning and block walls. There was no construction taking place at the time of the site visit.

King Fahd Hospital, Al Hofuf — 500 beds

Refurbishment of this hospital which was constructed between 1978 & 1982. The main hospital is a six (6) storey over basement building. There are 500 beds within the hospital. It has 8 operating theatres and 27 No. various diagnostic suites. There are 5 no. specialist labs on site. The construction is a reinforced concrete frame structure with block masonry and marble tile cladding on external wall.

King Fahd Specialist Hospital, Buraydah — 580 beds

Refurbishment of this hospital was constructed between 1982 & 1983. The main hospital is a three storey over basement building. There are 580 beds in the main hospital. There are 7 operating theatres and 40 different diagnostic suites. There are 4 No. specialist labs on site a Chemistry Lab, a Virology Lab, a Haematology lab and a Hormones lab. The construction is a concrete column beam structure with concrete block masonry walls. There are approximately 500 parking spaces on site.

King Khalid Hospital, Hail — 300 beds

Refurbishment of this hospital which was constructed during 1982/83. There have been extensions added and alterations made over the years. The total bed capacity is currently 300. The main hospital building is one floor over basement. There are 2 no. operating theatres and MRI & CT’s installed within the building. The construction consists primarily of column beam structure with block walls and concrete roof. The internal walls and partitions consist of a mixture of dry wall partitioning and block walls.

Qatif Central Hospital — 360 beds

Refurbishment of this hospital which was constructed in 1987. The main hospital is a three storey over basement building. At the time of the visit there was an extension of a Diagnostic building under construction. The hospital has 360 beds. The hospital has five operating theatres and eleven diagnostic suites (8 for diagnostic and 3 for observation) and ten imaging suites. There are nine specialist labs on site. The construction is a reinforced concrete frame structure with block masonry and marble tile cladding on external walls. There are 2 treatment plants for the main hospital building and 1 for the renal dialysis unit. There are approximately 300 car parking spaces on site.
