Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Campus
45,000 sq. m biopharma campus
Part of RKD’s involvement on development of the Biopharma Campus Masterplan is full architectural support to develop detail design of the layouts of all the production and ancillary buildings, support of the project management process and full cost estimates.
5 production buildings in total are planned to be built on site. Three general production buildings: General Block, Blood Collection Centre and Sterile Block are to be built in phase 1 of the development. Along with them the following support buildings are to be built: general warehouse, central kitchen, WWTP, central utilities, pre-clean building and the entire necessary site infrastructure supporting the production.
The area of buildings built in phase 1 of the development is estimated at 50,100sq.m. The second phase will consist of two additional production buildings: Vaccine and Contraceptives/Hormone Blocks. The area of the buildings for phase 2 is estimated at additional 14,800sq.m.
The design of production buildings includes full layouts of various production lines: from non classified packaging rooms through cleanroom class D granulation facilities, tabletting, encapsulating , filling lines to cleanroom class B aseptic filling lines All these areas will have associated changing facilities, logistic areas, offices, QC laboratories, workshops and personnel support areas developed.
RKD is working with pharmaceutical process engineers to provide the complete design along with the full cost estimate for the
architectural part of project.
