RKD Architects is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Davey to the position of Associate. Paul joined RKD in 2011 and is particularly experienced in the design of office commercial, residential and retail buildings as well as the master planning of large-scale projects.

Paul has overseen the design of several current major developments including 27-33 Baggot St (18,000 sq. m) and all current office and residential projects in Hanover Quay including Block C1 office building (13,600 sq. m), Block C2 (100 residential units), 76 Sir John Rogerson’s Quay (16,700sq. m mixed use development) and No. 8 Hanover Quay (4,450 sq. m office warehouse project).

Prior to joining RKD Paul has worked extensively in Ireland, the UK, China and the Middle East designing and delivering projects of varying scales and across all sectors. He has worked on the design and construction of education, office, healthcare and interior/refurbishment projects and has developed an expertise in developing concept design and site analysis studies across all sectors. Prior to joining RKD Architects, Paul has designed and delivered a range of projects including the BASF Headquarters Extension (Shanghai), Odyssey Masterplan (Belfast), Pushkin Hotel (St. Petersburg), Hills Rd 6th Form College Science Building (Cambridge, UK), St Andrews House office building (Cambridge, UK), Central Park Masterplan (Dublin), Rose Garden Masterplan (Bahrain) and the Sincere Department Store (Hong Kong)

His qualifications include a BA Dip (Hons) in architecture from Kingston University (London) and is a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
